On Holy Thursday, we enjoyed speaking Rowan Wade and learning of his spiritual transformation. He was called to the serve the Lord; the answer led him to Hands Across Jamaica for Righteousness. This organization seeks to help youth reconnect with the Lord through recognition f the National Pledge and Anthem, both of which are testimonies to the Lord, as much as to Jamaica.
In keeping with the spirit of day, Jodi McCalla of the True Worshipers Ministry and gospel artiste Omari rose their voices to the Lord in song.
Later in the morning, we were joined by Dr. John Rapley who provided keen insight into the US Presidential Elections and how the outcome of the elections will affect Jamaica. Keeping with current affairs, Actor Boy Awards nominee Michael Nicols and committee member Scarlett Beharie told us that the Actor Boy Awards, celebrating excellence in theatre, take place in Tuesday, March 25 at 7:00 PM at The Pantry; while Heather ‘Brown Sugar’ Grant and O’Neil Famous told us about the Tribute to Stanley in Linstead this Saturday.
Resident favourites Dr. L. Danavan White and Dr. John Josephs chatted with us in our 10 Minutes to Your Health and Pet Vibes features (off air, my attention was focused in the cute doggie, Angi).
Next scheduled appearance: Thursday, March 27
